News from SCIS:
18th October 2019
After the success of presentations from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Dubai universities, St Constantine’s hosted Daryl Rustaad, Director of Counselling for TanSAO (Tanzania Student Achievement Organisation) and his colleague Moussa Mattaka – a SCIS alumnae – who addressed Sixth Form students and parents on Parents Day.
The Tanzania Student Achievement Organisation, supports qualified high school students to look for and prepare for universities throughout the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Malaysia, South Africa, and other countries. TanSAO’s main focus is to serve as a resource centre to support students who wish to study abroad and then return home to contribute to Tanzania’s development.
The staff works closely with students and families to identify appropriate and affordable university opportunities and then help with applications for admission and financial aid when needed. Their resource centre provides free access to relevant materials and information, and also assists students with registration and preparation for tests like the ACT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests, TOEFL and IELTS if required.
