News from SCIS:

SCIS Student Wins 5km Monthly Arusha Fun Run

One of our Year 4 students, Ethan Murray, came first in the monthly 5km Arusha Fun Run this morning, Sunday 13th October 2019. Ethan led all the way, completing the course in 29:30. After the race, while being interviewed for the Fun Run YouTube channel and also for the Daily News newspaper, Ethan praised the teachers at St. Constantine’s for helping him to run faster, and also mentioned how he had been inspired by Eliud Kipchoge’s sub-2-hour marathon the day before.

The Arusha Fun Run is now a monthly event, starting and finishing at the Arusha stadium. Participants can choose from 2.5km, 5km or 10km distances. Why not come along next time and join the fun?
