Upper Primary Sports Day – 2019 / 2020

The Primary Sports day began early with colour and excitement from all the students taking part in a variety of fun activities, which included drenching their teachers by throwing sponges accurately at the victim in the “Hit me with your best shot” game. Additionally, there was much hilarity during the Water Race; Egg and Spoon, 3-Legged and Sack Races; Tug of War, Stilts walk, Hula Hoops team work game, Tail Tag, Target Throw, and Ball balance. A fun time was had by all.

The afternoon was time for the various field events where students were able to show their different abilities in high jump, long jump, javelin, discus and shot put. Notable feats were recorded from Caleb Nduku and Elijah Marandu whose high jumps were record-breaking.

The main track events, both in middle distance and sprints, showed off the talents of our young athletes with notable performances from Etienne Godbout, Seif Seif, Kelson Kilonzo and Amani Marwa who won their 100 M relay with the fastest times.

There was very tight competition among all the houses…… but

Congratulations are due to Olympia, who were the overall winners.
