News from SCIS:
5th June 2018
We are excited to be part of a ground breaking Round Square International school research project led by Dr. Christina Hinton from Harvard Graduate School of Education. The aim of this research is to explore how Round Square schools support students’ development of International Understanding. The project which was begun in January 2018 will run through June 2019.
St. Constantine’s International School is one of 10 selected Case Study Schools; among over 180 Round Square Schools. Our students Karl Mbugua and Simran Pinheiro have been heavily involved in this research project and will be traveling to Harvard University in June 12th, 2018 to attend a research symposium. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to students and members of staff for providing their support to Karl and Simran during their data collection, without forgetting Mr. Rugera Wanjara, teacher of ICT/Computer Science for being a mentor to the two students this whole time. Mr. Wanjara will be traveling with the two students to Boston MA.
