News from SCIS:
10th March 2016
Every year the children at the Town Campus present a beautiful performance to their parents and community members. It is always a wonderful evening full of song, dance and drama. Our playground becomes an open theatre under the sky. The children, teachers and parents work very hard to practice their lines, learn their songs, make props and costumes and decorate our school.
The 2015-2016 Annual Performance took place at the end of March and it was called ‘The Magic Key’. At SCIS we use the Oxford Reading Tree to help develop our children’s reading skills and it is in these stories that we are introduced to a magic key that often takes a group of friends on Magic Adventures. During the performance, each class went on a Magic Adventure as the key began to glow. The Magic Key took Nursery Class on a bus adventure, Reception went on a park adventure, Year 1 joined a fairytale adventure and Year 2 went up into space!
